Through presentation and panel discussion, the webinar will cover the range of engagement pathways from handling breach notification queries, correspondence on complaints to dealing with cross border investigations. The panel will discuss their experience and learnings over time as the supervisory model continues to evolve.

Mary Colhoun, Director, Office of Data Protection at Facebook
Mary is a lawyer with 20+ years experience - both in-house and top-tier practice. As a Director in the ODPO at Facebook she focuses on multi-jurisdictional regulatory engagement, and driving cross-functional programmes in partnership with the business to improve Facebook’s privacy posture. Prior to Facebook she was the Global DPO for ICON plc, one of the top 5 global clinical research organisations with operations in over 140 countries. Mary joined ICON plc from eir, formerly eircom, where she led the privacy function during its preparations for GDPR and its acquisition by Iliad and NJJ Telecom Europe.

Gonzalo Caro, Data Protection Manager, EU DPO Office at Facebook
Gonzalo is a Data Protection Manager at the Office of the DPO in Facebook Ireland since 2018. Prior to joining Facebook, Gonzalo worked at Microsoft Ireland for 17 years where he had a number of roles in the areas of Data Protection, Risk Management and Compliance. In recent years, Gonzalo has focused his work on Governance and Accountability frameworks, Operationalising Risk & Audit methodologies and Culture of Privacy. Gonzalo has hosted and spoken at a number of industry events in Ireland and is an active member of the Global DPO Tech Network since 2018.
