The ACOI membership year is from 1 August – 31 July.  Membership fees are paid annually and are non-refundable.To become a member, please contact the ACOI office by telephone at 01-779 0200.

Membership Category Summary

ACOI offer 4 variations of member designations:

Affiliate Membership of ACOI is open to those who have demonstrated an interest in and specialist knowledge of financial services regulatory matters;

Ordinary Membership is open to those who have successfully completed the Professional Certificate in Compliance.

Licentiateship Membership is open to those who have successfully completed the Professional Diploma in Compliance (‘PDC’ – a Level 7 qualification on the National Framework of Qualifications) and who undertake to meet ongoing continuing professional development requirements. A Licentiate is awarded the designation LCOI.  ACOI currently has in excess of 1,100 qualified LCOIs. Academic awards are made by University College Dublin.

Fellowship is awarded to those who have successfully completed the MSc in Compliance or the MA in Ethics (Corporate Responsibility) (both – Level 9 qualifications on the National Framework of Qualifications) and who undertake to meet ongoing continuing professional development requirements.

The annual fee for ACOI membership is €150. The membership renewal fee (1 August – 31 July ) is €150 for all members with the exception of designate members. The designate member fee (1 August – 31 July ) is €250 .

Membership renewal fees can be paid online by logging into the member area of the ACOI website with your ACOI membership details.
