On Thursday 12th April, 2018, the ACOI gathered an expert panel of three experienced practitioners to discuss key aspects of GDPR and specifically:

• The key points from the Data Protection Bill 2018;
• The risks and responsibilities of being a DPO;
• ‘Privacy by design’ – the implications for ICT systems; and
• Key feedback points from the GDPR event in Dublin in March.

This Regional event was an opportunity for attendees to hear insights and suggestions from an expert panel of practitioners, to ask questions of them and to discuss common issues with their fellow DPOs and others involved in GDPR.
