The European Banking Authority (EBA) launches a public consultation on its draft Guidelines on reporting requirements on statistical data on fraud under the revised Payment Services Directive (PSD2).

The EBA in conjunction with the European Central Bank (ECB) have just released (02.08.17) a Guide to ensure the high-level fraud reporting requirements under Article 96(6) of the PSD2 are implemented consistently across Member States. It will also enable data to be aggregated and comparable between the EBA and ECB. The Guidelines are addressed to payment service providers and competent authorities with the aim of increasing security of retail payments across Europe.
